Each year RIASP selects a Rhode Island Assistant Principal of the Year who then becomes eligible for consideration as the National Assistant Principal of the Year. The NASSP/Virco National Assistant Principal of the Year program recognizes outstanding middle level and high school assistant principals who have demonstrated success in leadership, curriculum and personalization.
RIASP is now seeking nominations of qualified assistant principals for consideration as candidates for the 2012 RI Assistant Principal of the Year program. Anyone may nominate an eligible assistant principal – a superintendent, a principal, a teacher, a parent, a student.
