DCYF Reporting and Human Trafficking Awareness

Join us on February 12, 2019 at our offices for a presentation and Q&A on two relevant topics. DCYF will address referral procedures in general and will then collaborate with Day One to address the problem of human trafficking in Rhode Island. Children are sexually trafficked every day, and the average age of victims is 15 years old. Attendees will be briefed on behaviors and grooming techniques to note, as well as appropriate ways to communicate with victims. Presenters are representatives from DYCF and Day One Rhode Island.
