The LLN is a growing professional network of school leaders, aspiring school leaders, and teacher leaders who believe that, with each other’s continued support and feedback, we can improve our schools by improving our leadership practice. To learn more about the LLN, read the Spring 2008 Journal of Staff Development (Vol. 29, No. 2, pages 34-37) article, Side-by-Side: Novice and veteran principals are a powerful mix for learning in Rhode Island.
The LLN comes together for a fall and spring retreat each year, as well as for monthly Critical Friends Group (CFG) meetings. To download the registration form for this year’s retreats and CFG meetings, click here: LLN Registration
A CFG is a supportive group of educators who reflect on their practice and give each other feedback by using protocols to guide conversations. For more information about CFGs, go to www.nsrfharmony.org.
The LLN also has a listserv and a wiki for participants to share resources and communicate with each other between meetings. Please contact Donna Braun at dbraun@riasp.org to join the listserv and wiki.

What participants have to say about the CFGs:

“State of the art PD provided simply by being with a group of highly intelligent and dedicated school leaders following high quality protocols to examine our work.”
