January 29, 2010 Dear Colleagues and Friends: On behalf of NAESP, I want to encourage you to attend the NAESP 89th Annual Convention and Exposition, April 8-11, 2010 in Houston, Texas. I am proud to serve on the board of directors of NAESP and am most excited to welcome you to my wonderful city in April. There is no doubt that you will have a great time while you are in Houston. Whether you are an aspiring principal, a principal new to leadership, or one of the thousands of active principals, you are working on a shared mission to improve the lives of children by improving the effectiveness of schools. The bigger story is that the NAESP convention has all the programming you need to help you become the most effective leader you can be. New sessions have been included this year with success stories of how principals have transformed their schools to better serve their students and communities. I encourage you to register for the NAESP convention.
